LSU Integrative Community Studies Program (ICS) is a two-year certificate program designed to provide individuals with moderate disabilities with a life-changing university experience for program residents. Our primary goal is to prepare students for independent living, provide competitive employment competencies, and build interpersonal communication skills.
The Program consists of four semesters of specially designed coursework. Individuals who have been selected for admission will be housed on LSU's campus. This program is administered through the Special Education Program in the School of Education housed in the College of Human Sciences & Education.

Program Completion Certificate
Students will receive an official Certificate of Completion from LSU. In addition, ICS students will complete an electronic portfolio to include cover letter, resume, letters of recommendation, skills checklist ratings, and employment experiences. Their portfolio serves as a comprehensive overview of the student’s full employment potential.
